My New Bike!

My Bike!!

Last Saturday, Travis and I headed down to Idaho Falls to see if we could find me a bike. We went to Bill's Bike Shop and the first bike we saw was 3500 bucks! I thought we were going to have to go to another store to find one for a cheaper price. But we kept looking around and they did get cheaper. As we were looking, I didn't see anything I loved, but toward the end we saw one that I really liked. It is a pastel green Raleigh. It is a nice bike and wasn't too expensive. I'm glad that I was able to get one so that I can get some exercise....hopefully. It will also be fun to go on bike rides with Travis.

Easter Weekend

My older brother Andrew finally decided he would come grace us with his presence. He came up on Thursday and left Saturday. We had a blast with him up here. Some of the things we did included watching iron man, going on a drive to Mesa Falls (the road was still closed) then to Swan Valley to eat square icecream and see the dam store. We also hung out with Travis's family and colored easter eggs, walked around the gardens at campus, and played clue. (Andrew also did the dishes before he left without us knowing). Travis and I were so glad that he came up.

On Saturday, Travis and I went over to his grandparents house for their easter egg hunt. We got to help hide the eggs for the little kids, then we got to go find our own eggs. Travis got picked on quite a bit though that day. He was the last one to find his egg, but eventually Kellen found it. Also, Travis made some of his famous salsa. It was on the counter with all the other food and then when we were ready to eat, it was gone. Nobody knew where it went to or who had taken it. Finally his uncle Wade brought it out from a cupboard. It was pretty funny to watch how everyone got upset and blamed everyone else.

For Easter, I hid a bunch of easter eggs filled with candy around our apartment for Travis to find. On Saturday night, Travis got to go find all 42 eggs. It was so fun to watch him look for them. Travis said that I was like a little kid in a candy shop, and I wasn't even the one looking for them. After Travis had gotten about 30 of them, he asked me to help him. So I helped him gather the rest. We counted them to make sure that we got them all. We counted 40, and I thought there were only 41. Before my brother left, he re-hid some of the eggs so i had to call him to see where he put them. He didn't answer, so I called my mom. Luckily Andrew had told her one spot that he hid one and we hadn't looked there yet. So we had what we thought was all the easter eggs. Andrew called later that night and I told him we called to ask where the last egg was, but that mom knew. He was suprised and asked if we had found "the egg in the corner cupboard on the top shelf in the back inside one of our boxes." We hadn't, but sure enough there was one there. So in the end we have 42 eggs. It was such a blast to have that small easter egg hunt for Travis. It was a great weekend!

David Archuleta

Yesterday when I arrived to work, a lady I work with asked me if I wanted two tickets to the David Archuleta concert. I told her I did. I was excited. I called amy and told her she had to get off work early, so she asked why and I told her. We got down there around 5:30 and waited in line FOREVER! because I thought it started at 7 P.M. It didn't end up starting till 8. Once we got in and it started it was a lot of fun, except that there were too many screaming girls.
